ORGANIC PROJECTS ON FAMILY FARMS

The cooperation of volunteers on plantations and with the families means to have an authentic experience with small farmers who produce coffee, tea, cocoa and fruits like bananas, citrics, passion fruit and others. You can help in the school or in productive and social activities.

It means to live together what they live and do every day. You will be a special part of the encounter and you will learn from it, while they receive your company and whatever you know and wish to leave. These will be experiences to be remembered for a lifetime.

You will start the day in that world to the distant song of domestic and wild birds and the scent of coffee, chocolate or tea, you can have breakfast and conversations next to the fire of the cooking stove and afterwards go out to meet the authentic experiences that exist in rural life and between the cloudy or inter-Andean mountains or in the rainforest.

You will be able to carry out:

• Domestic activities like cooking and production of crafts
• Traditional agro-ecological activities
• Productive activities, harvests and processing
• Educational and cultural activities with children and their families, in the community
• Demonstrations of coffee harvest and processing done by hand, on local farms
• See the coffee grinding (from May to July)
• Taste the traditional home roasting and grinding of coffee with the family
• Sports and recreation, short walks, fishing in rivers, etc.

All of this will always be possible in a communal and family environment. On the farms, you will be given lodging, a family kitchen – dining area and their home environment.
